Mojitos are traditionally made with rum, but a good quality tequila can put a delicious twist on the drink.
Method: Muddle, and Shake
2 oz. Tequila
1 oz. Simple Syrup
1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
7-8 Mint Leaves
In a mixing glass, drop in the mint leaves and pour in the lime juice and the simple syrup. Now, muddle until the smell of mint is present. Be gentle, don’t pulverize the mint leaves. Pour in the tequila, fill with ice and shake until chilled. Strain into a fresh glass filled with ice and top it off with soda water. Garnish a sprig of mint.
