Amaretto Sour
Amaretto is a delicious almond liqueur that is so tasty, many people simply drink it on the rocks. It can be a great base ingredient in cocktails, too, because almond has a mild, nutty flavor that works surprisingly well with lots of other flavors. The Amaretto Sour is a simple, classic cocktail where amaretto is the star. It is blended with fresh lemon juice and simple syrup for a drink that has a nice balance of sweet and tart for a refreshing drink. Don’t give in to the temptation to use a premade sour mix for a drink like this one. They’re far too sweet and won’t give you the same tasty result as using real, fresh lemon juice and simple syrup.
