Rooibos Sweet Tea
Rooibos, pronounced “roy-bus,” is an herbal tea made from the South African plant of the same name. It has a bright red color to it, as opposed to the brown color of black tea, and contains no caffeine. It also has a naturally sweet flavor, which makes it a good base for this non-traditional sweet tea. The tea has a honeyed flavor and a slight spiciness to it that makes it a refreshing choice for a hot summer day.
