Maple Vanilla Soju Cocktail
Soju is one of my favorite spirits to work with. It has a neutral flavor that can easily be incorporated into any drink and it can make for some amazing cocktails. This Maple Vanilla Soju Cocktail is the perfect example because the soju blends seamless in with the rest of the ingredients for a truly delicious drink. The combination of maple, milk and vanilla tastes like melted vanilla ice cream – only better. A small serving size is more than enough for dessert, but have extra ingredients on hand because you’ll probably want seconds.
Glassware: Soju Glass
Method: Stir
Ingredients
1 oz. Soju
1 oz. Warm Milk*
1/2 oz. Maple Syrup
1/4 tsp. Vanilla Extract
Heat some milk on the stove top or in the microwave being careful not to burn it. Measure out 1 oz. of warm milk into a mixing glass. Pour in 1/2 oz. of maple syrup 1/4 tsp. of vanilla extract and stir until completely dissolved. Now stir in 1 oz. of soju. Pour and serve the drink into a small Asian style tea cup or soju glass.
*For the cold version use cold soju, cold milk, and serve over ice.
